Recipients of the grant will be sent in countries such as France, Germany, Spain, Russia or Mexico and may apply for any academic program offered by their chosen college. They will also receive up to $3000 that can be spent for their education expenses abroad.

AWS International Scholarship Program

The AWS international scholarship is available to full-time international students who are currently taking up a Bachelor’s degree in welding or other related fields of study. Applicants should be in the top 20% of their class, and must provide proof of country citizenship upon entering the competition.

American Association of University Women International Fellowships

These fellowships are awarded to women who are non-US citizens who wish to continue graduate and post-graduate studies. Recipients of the fellowships may study in any country they choose (aside from their own), as well as grant money amounting to $7,000 per student.
